exploring studio lighting.

i met lindsey in second grade. we have been close friends ever since. she was kind enough to model for me and i think she looks stunning. studio shooting really isn't my thing but i actually had a lot of fun on this shoot. it made me appreciate just how difficult it really is to work in a studio. its so technical. but i think these turned out great and i am looking forward to an entire semester of learning from the brilliant john rees who has shot for huge clients including nordstrom, nike, starbucks, and apple.

baby lundgreen.

soooo....

julie is BFFs with my BFF cousin kelsey. i photographed kelsey's wedding and julie loved her pictures so much she asked me to do family pictures of her and her husband ryan (which was a year or two ago) and then they had a baby so i got to take pictures of him a few weeks ago. he was only a few days old but was awake for almost the entire shoot! i was amazed. he was so content and cooperative for a newborn baby. i got to photograph him in his nursery in their house and that was a lot of fun. there were so many cute decorations and a sign on the door that said "kyle's pad". adorable. he is such a cutie and i'm looking forward to photographing him as he grows up. thanks you guys!

Helen is the wonderful aunt of my husband, Justin. She is one special lady and lives with her sister who takes care of her. On Friday she was a contestant in a beauty pageant for women with disabilities and I had the awesome opportunity of taking some photographs of her for her special day. Her pageant was featured on KSL.com.
